Directions from Berlin
Take the A24 motorway in the direction of Hamburg to intersection Wittstock/Dosse, then follow the A19 motorway to Rostock, take the exit Rostock-Ost (east), take the B105 (watch out for the yellow signs indicating the road number) through the city of Stralsund, where the B105 joins the B96. Now follow the B96, passing the Rügendamm straight to the Isle of Rügen and on to the city of Bergen. Then turn right and take the B196 in the direction of Göhren until you come to Baabe.
or: leaving Berlin, do not use the motorway at all, but follow the B96 through the cities of Neubrandenburg, Greifswald and Stralsund, then pass the Rügendamm to the Isle of Rügen and on to the city of Bergen. Then turn right and take the B196 in the direction of Göhren until you come to Baabe.

Take the A1 motorway to Lübeck and at the Bad Schwartau intersection the A226 to the end, then follow the B134 to Schönberg, the A20 motorway to Rostock intersection, then the A19 motorway to the exit Rostock-Ost (east), go on on the B105 through Stralsund, where the B105 joins the B96.
